1) Immaculate – ‘He knew no sin’ – 2 Cor 5:21.
2) Impeccable – ‘In Him was no sin’ – 1 John 3:5.
3) Incorruptible – ‘He did no sin’ – 1 Peter 2:22.
1) Yeshua was born without sin – “that Holy One who is to be born will be called the Son of God.”
– Luke 1:35.
(No one else was ever called Holy at birth)
2) His temptations were real – ‘yet without sin’. – Hebrews 4:15.
3) His response to temptation was different to ours. – James 1:13-14.
4) His temptations were severe, in the Wilderness, in the Garden of Gethsemane, before and on the Cross of Golgotha. – Matthew 4:3-4; 26:38; 27:26-44.
5) His sufferings were real, so ‘He is able to aid us’. – Hebrews 2:18.
1) With the Holy Spirit for Service. – Acts 10:38.
2) With ointment (fragrant oil) for His burial. – John 12:3-7.
3) With the oil of gladness for eternity. – Hebrews 1:9.
