1) He is called:–
‘Antichrist’ – in opposition to God and Jesus Christ, who is the Anointed One and Son of God.
‘The Deceiver’ in relation to men.
‘Not in the doctrine of Christ’ as opposed to God’s Word- verse 9.
2) The Apostle John writes of:-
A personal anti-Christ to come – ‘the man of sin.’ 1 John 2:18; 2 Thessalonians 2:3-10.
The forerunners of antichrist – all who oppose Christ now. 1 John 2:22.
The spirit of antichrist – in opposition to the Spirit of God.
“Night cometh when no man can work” – John 9:4.
