v. 12 – “Hearken unto Me, O Jacob and Israel, my called: I am He, I am the First, I am also the Last.

(God is the speaker: The One who has called Israel. “He is the First and the Last.”)

v. 16 – “Come near to Me, hear this: I have not spoken in secret from the beginning; from the time that it was, I was there.

(God is still the speaker: The “One” from the beginning; the “One” who has always been there the “First and the Last.”)

v. 16 – And now the Lord God and His Spirit, have sent Me.

.(“Me” refers back to the speaker in verses 12 and 16. The “One” from the beginning; “The first and the last” who is God. He is shown to be sent by his Lord God and His Spirit.)

What we now have is a direct reference to the Messiah who was sent. This is none other than the Lord Yeshua/Jesus.

This is a direct statement within verse 16 to show us the Unity of the Godhead, therefore the word Echad is used as within the Shema, the great declaration, to show that God is One.

We now need to note Echad is a compound noun denoting plurality and Yachid is a singular noun.

So here is positive proof within the Hebrew language that the Godhead is three in one – i.e. Father, Son and Spirit.

This is further shown within the Brit HaDasha where Yeshua states “I and My Father are One.” John 10:30.

We have already had the testimony in Matthew 3:17 from John the Immerser after he baptised Yeshua that suddenly a voice came from Heaven saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”

There are many more verses within the Brit HaDashah to show that Yeshua is the Messiah, the Son of God. Adonai ve Sar Shalom ve Melech Yisrael.

The rest is history and we await His Second coming, not as The Suffering Servant (who died and then rose from the dead to ascend into Heaven),  but as The Conquering King of Israel at Armageddon to save His covenant people. Amen.

Even so, Bo Adonai Yeshua (Come Lord Jesus). It is written – Hallelujah.
