The Truth about Easter

Other than observance of the Sacrament of the Last Supper there is no further command or instruction about what is known as Easter. It is a pagan introduction into the Church.

In fact, Easter ceremonies and rites rose from the worship of the sun and moon. The Babylonian queen Semiramis’s son Tammuz liked to hunt and so  while still a young man he was killed by a wild boar and so throughout the Babylonian kingdom and its satellites the Queen instructed everyone to observe 40 days of lamenting and weeping set apart for him to be remembered (Ezekiel 8:13-14)

Today this is known as Lent.
