Israel's Remnant

The word ‘remnant’ is mentioned 91 times in the Holy Bible. 85 times in the O.T. and 6 in the N.T.

O.T. – e.g. Micah 7:18. Zephaniah 3:13.

In the N.T. it is used 2 times towards the Gentiles and 4 times towards Israel.

N.T. – e.g. Romans 11:5, 26.

The Saints.

The word ‘saints’ is mentioned 95 times in the Holy Bible. 35 times in the O.T. and 60 times in the N.T.

The word ‘saint’ is used 5 times in the Holy Bible. 4 times in the O.T and once in the N.T.

We are interested in three verses where the word ‘saints’ is used in Revelation 13:7, 13:10 and 14:12 in connection with the 7 years of The Tribulation Period before the Second Coming of Yeshua/Jesus.

Question – are these Church saints or Tribulation saints. Your answer will determine whether we go through the Tribulation Period for a mid-point rapture, or up to the start of the 7 Bowls of God’s Wrath or right to the very end!

The only other position is a pre-tribulation Rapture re: –

Revelation 3:10. “I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth.”

(NB. Keep you from ‘ek’ not keep you through ‘en’)

1 Thess 1:10. Even Jesus who delivers us from the wrath to come.

1 Thess 5:9. For God did not appoint us to wrath but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Romans 5:9. Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.

1st mention of God’s wrath poured out  Rev 6:16-17.

Thinking it Through.

Revelation13:15-17.

V15 – You are killed if you do not worship the Beast.

V16 – All high and low must take the mark of the Beast.

V17 – You cannot buy or sell without the mark of the Beast as he reigns for 42 months – V5.

In V7 God has given the Dragon, the Beast and the False Prophet power to overcome the saints and have authority over all tribes, tongues, and nations.

This means if His blood bought Church is still on the earth then hundreds of millions of saints at that time must die as martyrs – because we refuse the mark!

1) The Rapture (the Last Day – John 6:39-40, 44* isn’t at the end of the 7 years. Why?

2) When the Lord Jesus returns – Rev 19:11-14. He comes with all His raptured saints dressed in fine linen*. We have had the Bema Seat first, then the Marriage Supper of the Lamb and we are dressed in fine linen – Rev 19:8.

3) He comes to rescue Israel, to restore Eden, the earth and the seas*, to judge the nations, to give longevity, to reign and rule for a 1,000 yrs. The best is yet to come!
