The Creation of Man

1) It is the Work of God –

And God said, “Let us make man in our image after our image” … Genesis 1:26.

And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the

ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life and man became a living soul. Genesis 2:7.

2) We are made in His image –

So God created man in His own image, in the image of God created He him, male and female created He them.

Genesis 1:27. see Genesis 5:1.

Therewith bless we God, even the Father; and therewith curse we men, which are made after the similitude of God.     James 3:9.

3) We are Spirit, Soul and Body –

And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly, and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless until the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. 

1 Thessalonians 5:23.

4) We see the Unity of Mankind –

And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation. Acts 17:26.

5) Man’s Eternal Existence –

And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God, and the books were opened ….  Revelation 20:12.
