Your Throne O God

Hebrews 1:8-9. “Your throne, O God, is forever and ever;
A sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of Your kingdom.
You have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness;
Therefore God, Your God, has anointed You with the oil of gladness more than Your companions.”

1. The Sovereignty of Yeshua – “Your throne”
2. The Deity of Yeshua – “O God”
3.  The Dynasty of Messiah – “is forever and ever”
4.  The Authority of Moshiach – “the sceptre”
5.  The Integrity of Jesus – “of righteousness”
6.  The Spirituality of Jesus – “God has anointed You”
7.  The Vivacity of Christ – “with the oil of gladness”

Yeshua/Jesus is God in the absolute sense of the word. He claimed and stated to be Elohim/God. That is why the Brit HaDashah (N.T.) says He is God and the Tanakh (O.T.) does the same. They both herald and state this clearly. Hallelujah.

Messianic Jews and Christians believe He is God the Son, the second person of the Godhead, uncreated and self-existing. A stumbling block to Jews and to Jehovah Witnesses but He is God over all blessed and honoured for evermore. Amen.
