Messiah our High Priest.

Adonai Yeshua is the only royal priest Yisrael will ever have.

As we study the Epistle to the Hebrews, we note that He is our great High Priest sitting on the right hand of God the Father. No other High Priest has ever sat down as there was no chair in the Holy Place but there was a table.

 

Hebrews 10:11-12.

  1. His Person – verse 12a.
  2. His Passion – verses 11-12b.
  3. His Position – verse 12c.

Yeshua’s Great Offering.

  1.  Messiah had a material body, His physical one that suffered on the Cross, now He is enthroned of high.
  2. The Body of Messiah has a mystical body of believers, being ‘born again’ Jews and Gentiles.
  3. He has a memorial body of matzah bread on the table, which is stripped and pierced and broken.

The Blood of Yeshua.

1 – Its Value as sin is shown in Scripture to be:

a. A disease that only blood can cure.

b. A debt that only blood can cancel.

c. A defilement that only blood can cleanse.

2 – Its Virtue as it brings us nigh to God.
