The Lame Man Made to Walk

Note His Disposition:- 

1. His Disease – v3 (He was lame from his mother’s womb)
2. His Distance – v3 (He could not enter the Temple)
3. His Decrepitude – v3 (He was laid there daily)
4. His Destitution – v3 (He had to beg for money)

Note His Deliverance and Discipleship:-   

Acts 4:9, 12 – Made whole, same word is translated ‘saved’

1) Obedience of Faith – v8.  (He sprang up)

2) Stability of Faith – v8.    (He stood up)

3) Walk of Faith – v8.   (He walked about)      

4) Exuberance of Joy – v8.    (He leaped with joy) cf Is 35:6.

5) Praise for Healing – v8.   (He praised God)

6) Privilege of Nearness – v8.  (He entered the Temple)

7) Fellowship of Saints – v11. (He had fellowship with the Saints – he was a new person – born again)
